On this special monthly edition of “On-the-Line” with CWLA, award winning author E. R. Frank joins guest host Christine James-Brown, CWLA’s President and CEO to talk about the inspiration for her book “America” which was adapted into a compelling Lifetime Television original movie that aired in February starring Rosie O’Donnell and Ruby Dee and she shares her insights about the need for foster care reform. Frank’s book, “America” is an emotional drama that follows the life and struggles of America, a 15 year old boy who spent his entire life being shuffled through the foster care system. In addition to being an award-winning author, E. R. Frank is also a clinical social worker and psychotherapist who works with adults and adolescents in trauma.
