Each year, approximately 20,000 youth “Age Out” of the foster care system. What happens to foster youth when they “Age Out” of the system at the age of 18—suddenly on their own without the “Safety Net” of a permanent family? “On-the-Line” with CWLA features an adolescent currently in care and two young adult alumni of the foster care system who will share their personal experiences and thoughts about “Aging Out” of foster care.
