Checking the Pulse on your heart by taking a look at some of the cutting edge issues that are affecting you and the people around you. And have you consider...

How in the world is all this mess  called life affecting your heart?

Today's Show:

When I think about working mothers, three words come to mind, stress, stress and more stress. What in the world is a woman to do? Moms wear so many hats today; they’re definitely subject to burnout. So even though we can rub an scrub till the house shines like a dime, feed the kids, grease the car and powder our noses at the same time; we still need to notice when all this mess is affecting us— physically and emotionally. Join us today as we talk to Dr. Julie Verner about the challenges and solutions for working mothers.

JULIE VERNER: If anyone knows the challenges of parenting and family life, Dr. Julie Verner certainly does! As a married mother of four who balances her busy life at home with the rigors of a growing career, she is intimately acquainted with both the joys and demands of contemporary life with children. With a PhD in Clinical Psychology, a Master’s degree in Theology, and a broad base of experience in church ministry, she is dedicated to addressing the needs of young families
