Join Lucy Ann Moll as she chats with Julie Ganschow, a biblical counselor. She's the perfect person to help cool red-hot anger. Why? She had a fiercely angry heart that threatened her marriage and, in turn, her little family with little kids. Then she cooperated with God and he cured her of her anger. In fact, he used her pain to lead her to a psychotherapist's office. In fact, many pastors refer people in their flock to psychotherapists and psychologists. Instead of helping Julie, the therapist fueled her anger. One of the ways: she was instructed to throw ceramic plates and break them to handle her anger. Julie's healing from red-hot anger didn’t come from a reading a self-help book or watching Dr. Phil. Instead her healing came straight from the pages of the Biblle. As Julie writes, "Angry people do not understand the sovereignty of God, or if they do understand it, they refuse to accept it. The typical angry response comes from something you wanted and didn’t get, or you are angry about something you got and didn’t want, but in both cases, you have never dealt with the anger biblically." An important note: If you are taking medication prescribed by a doctor, consult him or her before you make changes to your dosage or stop taking the medicine. Julie and I are biblical counselors who provide pastoral care. We are not medical providers. Lucy's website Lucy's counseling resources
