I so enjoyed the interview with Cushing's Help Founder, Mary O'Connor. Jayne, you did a great job! I've had the pleasure of knowing Mary since before Cushings-Help.com became a reality. Mary puts an unusual amount of time and effort into her incredibly informative and invaluable Web site. Mary IS Cushing's Help. If there's any new technology where Mary can spread the word about Cushing's, she'll find it. This new blogtalkradio is another excellent venue where Mary can continue her endless help for those suffering from Cushing's and related disorders. I'm personally so proud of all that she's accomplished, especially when through it all, she's still dealing with her own health issues, but that doesn't stop her! I'm proud to call her my "friend."     Interview with Gail (Dolly)

    Gail was originally diagnosed with Cushing's in 1988. At that time she had a pituitary tumor removed. She was okay for about 10 years and the Cushing's occurred again. Her tumor was removed, as well as her pituitary glands. In 2003, it reoccurred and she had her adrenal glands removed. She is now experiencing all symptoms again and her Endo is puzzled since Gail has no glands, and has undergone radiation. The endo thinks maybe she now has Nelsons Syndrome. It has been a long battle because of the Cushing's, over 21 years, and it has effected her life dramatically.

    Second Interview with Dr. Ted Friedman (DR. F)

    Theodore C. Friedman, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine & Science. He is the Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Molecular Medicine and Metabolism. Dr. Friedman is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. He received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in Chemistry and Biological Sciences and his M.D.-Ph.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, with his Ph.D. from City University of New York in Pharmacology. He completed his internal medicine residency from University of Michigan and his fellowship in Endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Child, Health and Human Development. He has a private practice in Los Angeles specializing in hard-to-diagnose and treat cases of adrenal, pituitary, and thyroid disorders. He is the father of three children. Dr. Friedman lives in California.

    Cushing's Help Interview # 50: Ami (ADDflower)

    Ami had pituitary surgery on January 27, 2009 at UCI University Hospital. Her doctor has been trying to figure out what is wrong with her for 12 years, but she really only joined her crusade 3 years ago, being unwilling to be sick.
