Paulette Tyson currently serves as an executive board member of the Williamson County African-American Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Tyson is a graduate of the University of North Texas at Denton and has always had an interest in the Criminal Justice system. In junior high school, Mrs. Tyson has served on the Texas Teenage Commission and has enjoyed several accolades, masteries, and numerous certifications. She is a member Sigma Gamma Rho Inc., and a former president of the Austin Chapter of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ). Paulette Tyson is accomplished in her professional career as well as in her personal life. She is the wife Rev. Louis Tyson Jr. and a mother of two beautiful children. We can now add to the long list of accolades: Author. The title of her new book, “I Gotta Get a Nickname!” is a must have for every household.
