Our Guest is Debbie Painter who will talk about her personal involvement with an upcoming SyFy Channel special to be broadcast May 15, called The Life After Death Project.

DEBORAH PAINTER is an environmental scientist from Virginia who knew Forrest J Ackerman and wrote a biography of his life called FORRY. She reports on the history of phenomena in the Ackermansion, dating back to when actor Jon Hall lived there, who starred as Ramar in the Ramar of the Jungle TV episodes.

The late Forrest J Ackerman is the focus of this documentary from Yellow Hat Productions. He was a friend and mentor of the director since the director was 12 years old. Mr. Ackeman was a leading figure in the world of science fiction literature and film. An author, agent, editor and archivist, he was a founder of science fiction fandom as well and he appeared in 112 films and documentaries on the subject. "Forry" was also an outspoken atheist, but he told some friends shortly before he died in 2008 that if it turned out he was wrong he would drop by and tell them so.

Some unusual events have since transpired within the first year of his death (usually when most of these sorts of ADCs occur) to indicate that he has in fact tried to do so. A few interesting experiences were shared among several friends including Debbie Painter.

Debbie will discuss those experiences and we'll talk about the show and how she came to be involved in it.
