“Real journalism is publishing something someone else does not want published – the rest is just public relations.” George Orwell
With so much drama in the world today in our communities on both macro and micro levels, it’s always strange to see the news or people that claim to be journalists talking about all kinds of silly things and never what’s going on. The Firing Squad is here to take aim at all that is wrong with the world, starting with our own communities. Three men of color with no censor and no objectives but truth, justice and common sense. Each episode will deal with hot-button issues with honesty, straight talk, and humor whenever possible . No personality is untouchable, and no one is spared the venom, or the praise whenever fit.
The format fo the show is simple five topics a week with 5 minutes devoted to each topic, and a close by each individual member featuring a verbal shot of their own choosing.

What does it mean to judge? "Stop judging me…” is a popular cry of many in today's society...especially among today's 21st Century "christians"...nevertheless...the Word of God says "to be TRANSFORMED"? We come to Jesus THE WAY WE ARE...BUT...He has made it possible for us NOT TO STAY THE WAY WE ARE. That's GRACE…That’s "TRANSFORMATION". What does it REALLY MEAN to be a CHRISTIAN in the 21st Century? Is it really possible to live the way the BIBLE SAYS live? Does God care if we continue in sin after we're saved? What are God's expectations for us?  Can I be a church-goer and still have demons inside of me? Join us as we continue our next level of WHAT DID GOD REALLY SAY Blogtalkradio Series, “DON'T LEAVE US ALONE: THE POWER OF TRANSFORMING GRACE”. Tuesdays @ 8:30pCT. • Who did it to you? Roundtable Discussion Hosted by Brother Maurice D Muhammad

    in Culture

Who did it to you? That is the question of the centry and now must come the answer.
This program is based on the writings of Dr James Jones author and Professor his website Manhood, Race and Culture please visit his website www.manhoodraceculture.co
Nobody will ever change the condition of a people until they change within themselves. Family the burden is on us to change our behavior; to build love, trust and confidence in each other and in our people for us, then, 95% of our problems will be solved. We, as leaders must declare that we will never sell out the aspirations of our people for personal wealth, position and advancement in the society of our former slave masters and their children. We must make a covenant with our people to work and sacrifice and be willing to be the good shepherd (leaders) who will lay down our lives for our people. Let us accept our responsibility and change our behavior to that, which will make us more than comrades and brothers and Sisters, but a behavior that will make us friends and companions in the struggle for the total freedom of our people here and wherever we are found on this earth.
Our word must be our bond. When we break our word we destroy the life of this covenant or the agreement that we have made. It is absolutely necessary that as leaders we must build trust among ourselves. We can only build trust when we strive to keep our word, particularly a solemn agreement or covenant that we make with each other and with our people. I PLEDGE that from this day forward I will keep this covenant. I pledge that I will work to accomplish our mission to make our vision a reality so help me God.

  • Kingdom Advance Thru Understanding How To Fast

    in Culture

Fasting is beneficial whether you fast partially or fully. One day fasts on a consisitaent basis will strengthen your spirit over time and give you the ability to discipline yourself for longer fasts. Three day fasts with just water are a powerful way to see breakthroughs. Fasts longer than three days should be done by people with more experience in fasting. Long fasts are not recommended unless there is an emergency or if one is led by the Holy Spirit to do so. A partial fast can include some food such as vegetables and can be done for long lengths. Complete fasts  consist of water only, and  water is important to cleanse the system of toxins that are released through fasting. The Holy Spirit will reveal to you when you need  to fast. A fasted lifestyle is a powerful lifestyle.

  • 7 Things White People Can Do That Blacks Can't

    in Culture

To kick off Black History Month we will discuss some fundamental differences between white people and black people.  Sure we should all be equal and all of that jazz, but let's face it: we're not.  Nor will we be in my my generation's lifetime or the generation after that.
The reason being is that this country was built on racism.  If you plant an apple tree then no matter how hard you try to splice it, there will always be some apple in its fruit.  So, maybe if we can identify some differences then we can drill down to the root of the problem which really is: black people are judged from the moment we're identified as being black.
I'll bounce seven things being white allows you to do that others can't off of my Show Legends.  Afterwards, we'll get into some Zone Coverage.
All of this and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!
