Jazz Henry, an award-winning jazz music virtuoso, is a gifted and brilliant jazz musician with the trumpet being her favorite communication piece. Jazz Henry yields from New Orleans, Louisiana and is a member of the famous Henry musical family of New Orleans. She is a professional trumpet player for the Original Pinettes Brass Band, the world’s only all female brass band.  At 17, “Best of the Beat” Awards Show at Generations Hall New Orleans recognized Jazz for her genius musical mastery. Jazz Henry has appeared in the popular HBO series, Tremé and performed at local New Orleans Jazz Festival and the Essence Music Festival.  When not tooting her own horn per sé, you can find Jazz Henry playing duet with her famous jazz musician father Corey Henry, one of the most accomplished trombonists to come out of New Orleans. Jazz Henry has played among jazz music legends and is now becoming one of jazz’s finest musicians, a musical force to be appreciated and recognized in her own right. http://youtu.be/WDmEvEF9IKc
