Founded by Bruno Garcia and Ronny Lindsay, owners of Da Factory, a CrossFit facility in Miami, The Pantheon Games require the contestant perform six workouts that will test the athlete’s overall strength, power, speed, endurance, balance, coordination, athleticism and skill. This event will be held October 20-21 at the Miami Airport Convention Center. Athletes can register online at the Pantheon Games website. Along with other prizes, winners of each division will receive a $250 Altrient™ gift certificate. The general public is encouraged to attend to cheer on their favorite athlete. Tickets are on sale starting at $8 at http://thepantheongames.com/spectators, Ticket proceeds will be donated to Push America, a national philanthropic society dedicated to serving people with disabilities. Each ticket will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win $1,000. VIP athletes and vendors will have the option to enjoy the Altrient™ Lounge offering free food and beverages for VIP guests and provide a place to interact with other CrossFit enthusiasts in South Florida. Cheryl Brost one of the most fit women in the world will be present, a 41-year-old mother of two from Eugene, OR, who has a warrior drive. She will share her commitment to the world of CrossFit and her passion for Altrient as she is set to compete against women half her age. Da Factory believes the formula for having the most successful season begins with fortifying the foundation of the athlete by offering a wide variety of team sports training. The program consists of improving cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination and accuracy (CrossFit’s ten fitness domains) through the implementation of gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, plyometrics and other fundamental functional exercises of CrossFit.
