I didn’t set out to be a writer but can now attest to the inevitability of that beckoning and mysterious calling. When I was a little girl I wanted to be a vet, but since I couldn’t stand to see an animal in pain, that translated into caring for my own pets, --all of them rescue-- and activism. I became an actress. But since I don’t play well with others, I became a director. The best part of acting, for me, was the rehearsal and exploration process; I didn’t much care for being on stage. Writing does allow you the time and clearance to explore in depth. Of course, an editor can cramp the exploratory work, but I have been blessed with a handful of editors who are mindful of the creative process, and to them I remain most thankful. I also want to express my gratitude to recording artist extraordinaire, the wonderful IreneB, for building this website. Check out her music on one of her links here! Well, I hope that you enjoy my journey… I am. And if any of you writers out there are inspired to join our blog, to address, to vent, to inspire, to teach or just to share, do send your thoughts. I shall always care for what you are thinking… Diana
