This week on Assata Radio we being a series on the prison-industrial complex. We're going to dig into prisons, law, and business and how they all work together to make some wealthy and keep the rest of us poor. We expose prisons as the conerstone of the ongoing political economy of slavery and the extension of jim-crow into the 21st century. We'll also show how prisons are a key part of the counter-insurgency war against African people and the African community.
