Last week I was driving home from some office space I was looking at, and while in the middle of the traffic on the interstate, I started crying. The song, "where were you when the world stopped turning" by Alan Jackson came on, and in an instant memories of 9/11 came flooding back to me. I've spent 20 years working for a major airline, and besides my immediate coworkers, I also have friends here and abroad who work for various airlines, and a family member. That family member was supposedly flying home that day. So, I remember 9/11 very clear. I remember it from the minute it happened...the empty airports, the airplanes just sitting on the runways..and I'll always remember. I think back on it with sadness....but also,...well....curiosity. I've wanted to see ground zero... I've never been in the statue of Liberty....and have never seen any of the major attractions in NY for that matter...I've been to to NY to visit friends, but never as a tourist. So now I would like to satisfy that curiosity. I had a few guests on the show today from the New York City area who told us about the great things they have to offer. But Now I'm setting up a trip for anyone and everyone who wants to go.August 6th-August 8th...at the Sheraton NY... double Occupancy $504 pp; triple occupancy $435 pp; single occupancy $741 pp. Oh, and Quad occupancy- $400 per person... contact me at ctitravellisa@aol.com for additional information about the trip!
