Feeling nostalgic right now.Such a humility and gentle love is coming over me. My hand is itching. I am hearing what is in your hands? The spirit of a man is living on and he is still doing work in a most tremendous way. Thank you for bringing his light alive. Many Blessings to you and to your guest for this Assignment. Peace.

I just listened to Tanqueray 4 times in a row. If that song don't make me fall off the wagon nothing will! Something I share with Johnnie is giving up the sauce. One more time, God Bless Johnnie C. Johnson.

Tonight I'm listening to Johnnie B. Bad, with Keith Richards and Clapton, Johnnie Be Back, with Jimmy Vivino and Phoebe Snow, and the record Johnnie recorded just before he passed away, Johnnie Be Eighty. And Still Bad! I love the bio song, Beach Weather. My wife loves Lucky Four, apparently about his fourth wife. The Blues Don't Knock blows me away. A Good Day rocks. I'm really looking forward to the movie and am glad that it appears to be finished. Thanks Art Holiday for making this film.

Hey, where is the rest of my comment? That last line was supposed to be happiness to my ears. And I wrote three more paragraphs! God bless Johnnie Johnson.

Back in 1994,a friend told me, Johnnie Johnson is playing with Max Weinberg’s band. You have to see this. I thought I had never heard of Johnnie Johnson. So my friend reminded me who Johnnie was, and I went. I doubt there were many shows that Johnnie ever played in NYC again that I missed. And I always took friends. And they were always blown away. How can I describe what Johnnie’s playing did for me? Few sounds, besides the sound of my children’s voices ever brought that much happiness
