Cry Freedom  

Hello my dear friends and listeners.

This was a very enjoyable show for me and I'd like to thank Charlie from New Jersey, The Reverend Damien Darko (Host of The Dark Side) and Hans Meyer (Host of Situation Awareness) for calling in. All of you made for an interesting and informative hour and I thank you for contributing to the content of this week's show.

Charlie made a number of good points and it is progressives like him and you that are desperately needed to keep the truth in the mind of the average American. We can keep the issues that are important active in the discourse that goes on around us even when the mainstream and conservative media ignores them or misrepresents them.

Talk to your friends and family, post on blogs, create your own blog, heck even create your own show or participate in broadcasts already on the air by calling in, and prove to the MSM and Conservative Media that you do have power as an American Citizen, prove that your voice and your vote matter, be the embodiment of the  indefatigable American Spirit.

We are not meant to be a country divided even though we have differing political and ideological views we are all Americans and should be working together to move our great country forward instead of allowing power to a small minority of people intent on shoving us backward in time, in policy and in stature.

We must fight the lies propagated by the Conservative Media, we must correct the perversion of facts unleashed by the likes of Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Neil Boortz, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, John Gibson and Michael Savage. It is time to bring America back to her people, back to the truth and back to the liberties that so many of her brave men and women have fought and died for.

September 11th, 2001 was a tragic day for this nation but the idea that we should think differently as Americans because of the actions of evil men makes no sense to me. I believe that the only way we can be victorious against the Terrorists (both foreign and domestic) is to live as free and as fearless as we were living on September 10, 2001.

The people I listed above and those in Government that support their views would rather have you enslaved to fear of the Crazy Brown Boogeymen who want to kill us. They would rather have you produce a federal ID or a Passport if you wish to enter a National Park because somehow that makes you safer from those that wish to harm you.  They would rather have lists of people, Americans and foreigners alike to monitor without having actual proof of wrongdoing. They would rather we spy on fellow Americans to make us safer while leaving our borders open to anyone that wishes to cross. They would have you believe that torture of another living being is justified to keep you safer, they would have you believe that rendition of prisoners to secret prisons is in the best interest of Homeland Security. They would have you believe that their every act is protected by privilege because we are at war. They would have you believe that dissent against the President, the Government at this time is treasonous. They would have you believe that your fellow citizens who speak out against the Government are as much of a threat to the security of the Homeland as the terrorists who flew planes into the buildings.

I've had enough of it, Charlie from New Jersey has had enough of it, haven't you had enough of it too?

Tonight at 7PM Central time Cry Freedom, part of The Free World Radio Network, was going to devote the entire hour to Whine and Cheese, however, given Monday's announcement by the White Whale himself Karl Rove that he would be resigning on August 31st, 2007 I've decided our hour together would be better spent discussing our favorite Turdblossom.
