HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel on Wednesday night will profile four former Auburn Tigers who say they received money to play at the university. The news was first reported by the website sportsbybrooks.com. One of the players is former Dillard High School star defensive end Stanley McClover, who reportedly details on the show his receipt of money handshakes, bags filled with cash and sexual favors during his heavy-duty recruitment by Auburn, LSU and Ohio State, among others. McClover, who graduated from Dillard in 2003, played for Auburn from 2003-05. Stanley is just one of thousands of athletes that are up for auction each day!! McClover will tell why he is speaking out now on Cruz 102.8
In the piece, McClover alleges he was paid money to buy a car while in college and was paid handsome bonuses for each sack he registered against Alabama.
