Int'l Christmas Traditions & Christmas Carols

Thanks for tuning into my Christmas Program. Today we'll hear the background on your favorite Christmas Carols sung by a variety of musicians from all over North America including the Dan Kane Singers from Western Massachusetts and the Blackhawk Chorus from the Greater San Francisco Area. You will also hear about how others around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas along with the traditions that they follow.

At this time I'd like to thank several groups of people who are featured on todays program. Thanks to my friend Tony Pace a entertainer and philanthopist from Las Vegas, 2011 New Media Music Award Nominee in the Pop Genera, Giana Nguyen accompanied on guitar by Tony Nguyen, Canada's 2011 best new country musician - Marshall Dane, Roanoke Virginia's Jazz Pianist Lenny Marcus, NYC  entertainer Vincent Poag and a vocalist from Western Massachusetts, Colin Geaghan.  Finally I'd like to recognize Diane Gilfether, Founding Director of the Blackhawk Chorus from the Greater San Francisco area and Dan Kane, founder of the Dan Kane Singers from Western Massachusetts including members Maeve Jordan, Jim Kane, Keila Roman, Tracie Mnich & Fred Marion, Madline Lukomski, Jen Gaffney, Keith Freeman, and The September Girls. Both Choruses have performed extensively on both sides of the United States for over 20 years. Both choral groups have over 150 singers and the Blackhawk Chorus has performed all over the world including the Lincoln Center in NYC, the Vatican, London, Austria and the Czech Republic, Scotland, England and Wales.
