CTWB Kidoz Edition: Kadynce Mullins Interviews Auriyan McClure

Auriyan was born in Charlotte, NC and moved to LaFayette, GA in 2012 with her parents Rodney and Dorothy Swint-McClure. Auriyan is 10 years old and is in the 5th Grade at North LaFayette Elementary where she is a Straight “A” Student.  

Auriyan enjoys studying her favorite subjects, Math, Science and Reading.  She also enjoys in her free time cooking, more reading, watching movies, running, painting, drawing, roller skating, sewing, knitting, crocheting, rock climbing, competing in beauty pageants and spending time with her best friend Aryana Campbell at the mall. Auriyan has also competed on a local AAU Track Team. Auriyan is also a High Blue Belt in Tae Kwon Do!

Auriyan participates in her youth group at Church, when her schedule allows and has interests in feeding and clothing the homeless and less fortunate. Auriyan also collects and donates her change to help with Breast Cancer Awareness, the Humane Society and the Children's Miracle Network. Auriyan loves visiting her Great-Grandma, who is 101yrs old, at her nursing home facility and spending time with her and the other residents there on game day and helping her Great-Grandma win at Bingo. 

 Auriyan is a very smart, bright, funny, animated and caring young lady. Her favorite quote is “I Have a Dream” by Martin Luther King, Jr. and dreaming big is what she does best.  Auriyan aspires to become a Scientist, Coroner, Crime Scene Investigator and Model all at the same time when she grows up.  She hopes to be the one to find a cure for Cancer and Diabetes so that no one, especially children have to suffer with these diseases.  Auriyan also dreams of being a guest on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon one day as Jimmy Fallon is one of her favorite comedians and she thinks he is really cool and wants to know his secret to being funny.
