Wisdom is defined in (Cambridge dictionary) as the ability to make good judgments based on what you have learned from your experience, or the knowledge and understanding that gives you this ability.

For this discussion Wisdom is viewed as the way of thinking in this part of the motherland we call Nigeria. In other words, it was their way of viewing and approaching life, which involved instructing the young in proper conduct and morality and answering the questions about life's meaning. Therefore for us wisdom is keen insight into life and ways of dealing with its problems

For the citizens’ man "wisdom" and "wise" apply to men and women who represent a way of thinking and conduct that is orderly, socially sensitive, and morally upright. Thus, the major thrust of wisdom was a code of moral conduct.
