The problem with Suicide Teeth

What's a suicide tooth you ask? It's a tooth that has had a number of fillings, a crown or two, a root canal with new decay and/or new root tip abscess. A tooth that has other teeth around it in either good health or without active disease. Is that a condition that warrants another floss or brush lecture? Is it a tooth that needs more dentistry, or is it a tooth that never had the right treatment?
