Our guests today are Judy and Patrick Barnes who spend their free time foraging!
They started foraging last year. They took a class at a local technical college on edible gardening and foraging. They bought books and a DVD on it to really get into the idea.
They've lived in Wisconsin for 9 years, moving up from living originally in Illinois. Patrick is a programmer, Judy is a housewife. "We are trying to live off the grid. We are working on an edible yard and we just got chickens in June. Patrick is trying to build a solar oven and an Earth oven."
