In this show we will be exploring various ways we can use the arts of our ancestors for optimal health and healing. Congolese Dance Teacher Fumilayo of NYC will be on offering an in depth about the connection the Congo has with Black Dance in the Americas and thus how the dances are healing for both men and women.

In the second hour of the show I will have Poet, Author and Doula Carmen Mojica Fabian on to discuss the ways in which our childbirth experiences effect our lives and the use of belly casts and face masks as a way to keep history, heal and tell a story.

This show will offer some new and unique perspectives about the various ways we can go beyond the beauty of the arts of our ancestors and use them to obtain optimal health and healing.
