My guests tonight are Paul Scharff and Holly Hager. Paul is the son of tavern owner Ronald Scharff, who was murdered along with his barmaid in Lakemoor, Illinois in June 1981. Holly was Paul's babysitter back then, and this past summer she read a book that named the killer of Ron Scharff and Pat Freeman. We'll discuss the status of Paul's efforts to get the police to close out the cold case.
