Law = Anything that has an Effect----Is "Jim Crow Etiquette" Still in Effect?

This is among the more important questions covered during this discussion about how white people, in 2009, react when black people don't comply with the unspoken rules that used to be explicitly stated as Jim Crow Etiquette .---such as the rule that even black persons such as Dr. Henry Louis Gates are never to impute dishonorable intentions to a white person.
