Life is astounding! It is a glorious thing worth seeking and embracing in all its glory! This is my witness even at this time of shifting from this world into that of the mystic.

I read a book that I got from my grandchildren whose story had been remembered by me only for its singing and the beauty and innocence of Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon, Babes in Toyland. I had read half of it to my grand daughter at an appointment and I was not really impressed. Because of its historical (in my history anyway) significance I finished the book on my own. I was taken back by the profound symbolism that I found there.

It really defined life as I see it today at 58 as a lifetime Christian and 8 month old in the study of A Course In Miracles. I want to share it with you from start to finish first reading. I will be reading from an edition retold and illustrated by Toby Bluth.

I will go into the symbolism I see on another day. For now please enjoy this Christmas classic as my gift for your holy days. ;) Love, Christa-Ann
