(Please pardon the first couple minutes of technical difficulty.)
If the name Angie McCartney doesn't ring a bell, perhaps Paul McCartney will. Angie was Paul's stepmother when The Beatles made it big in the 60's. She is the only living Beatles stepmom and an avid supporter of the Linda McCartney Breast Cancer Foundation.
Angie's life has always revolved around tea - from surviving WW2 to celebrating with friends like John Lennon over yet another chart-topping hit. You can visit her organic teas website at http://mrsmccartneysteas.com. Most of the proceeds from her tea sales will go to the Linda McCartney Foundation.
She runs McCartney Multimedia with her daughter, Ruth (http://mccartneymultimedia.com) where they offer creative consulting, design, programming (Database and Software), marketing solutions, production (music and film) and much more. As Angie says, "It's better than working for a living."
In her 80's and fiesty as ever, Angie still makes plans to take over the world. Two of her goals are to visit Japan and finish her 2nd book.
To buy the book, go to http://mcartney.com, a site run by her son-in-law, Martin.
It's good to talk.
