What a great show the Cosmic Citizen is - where else can you find such intelligent guests and intellectual conversation about fascinating topics? Keep up the great work! It's great to hear guests that are not UB readers too - because they will certainly draw more listeners outside the UB community. I'm so looking forward to hearing Pastor Phil Gulley. I'd like to suggest Rev Eric Stetson of Christian Universalist organization as a follow-up guest sometime after Phil Gulley. Anyone who is on the board over at the Christian Universalist .org site would also make a great guest! (Rev Carlton Pearson, a former CC guest is also on their board.) http://www.christianuniversalist.org/faq.html#board

Great show, though you people said nothing about how the coming freshwater crisis, global warming, plagues and other natural phenomenon also work as masked eugenicists. There is actually a genetic crisis in the animal kingdom as we speak. Allot of species will go extinct as a result of our invasion and destruction of the natural world: The urban jungle literally chokes the natural jungle. The animal kingdom is on the verge of the sixth great mass-extinction.

Thing is, people with a pure heart are often humble, and do not want to be in positions where they have allot of power. The “soul destruction” phrase; infested this show like a cancer.

    Original Air Date:

Open Mic and Summer Study Session Interviews

This week Paula and Andre will be doing a special show featuring four interviews recorded in July at the Urantia Book Fellowship's Summer Seminar in Chicago.

The first interview is with Diane Labrecque, who has quite an on-air presence lately. Diane will be discussing what was her then upcoming Urantia Family Festival in Montreal over the 4th of July weekend.

The next guest is Robert Moyer, who was actually Andre's roommate. Robert gives speeches and seminars on unconditional love, and is a diligent student of both The Urantia Book and the Bible.

The last two interviews are with Lara and Dan Amyx, a couple who use their business as opticians to minister to the spiritual needs of their clients.

Each interview lasts about 20 minutes, so these segments take up most of the show, but we may have some time for phone calls afterwards.

  • Original Air Date:

Diane Labrecque - Natural Health, Healing and Happiness for God's Children

Interview with Diane Labrecque from Montreal, Quebec. Paula will be doing this show without Andre and will be interviewing repeat guest Diane Labrecque. Diane has spent her life studying the natural health and healing as well as spirituality. Diane has a unique and amazingly integrated knowledge of the human body, mind and spirit.

This show will be a fun and informational show, where callers can ask Diane pointed questions about health concerns and get practical advice about natural methods to better health.

  • Original Air Date:

Anger - interview with Sheryl Cira

The Urantia Book tells us that anger is a spiritual poison. It says that anger is like a stone thrown into a hornet's nest. Does that mean that all anger is bad; or is there some value to anger? The fact is; most of us get angry for time to time; so what do we do about it? How do we work through it? We will discuss this topic with our guest, Sheryl Cira. As some of you may recall from a previous broadcast, Sheryl is a therapist from South Florida and a long-time Urantia Book reader, with a lot of interesting things to say on this topic. Co-hosting this week is Diane Labrecque, who is sitting in for our regular host, Paula Thompson. Please join us at our usual time, Saturday morning, 11:00 a.m. CT, for two hours of lively conversation and on-line chat.

  • Original Air Date:

Interviews - Philip Gulley and James Mulholland

Philip Gulley is a Quaker pastor and beloved writer and speaker from Danville, Indiana. He has become the voice of small-town American life. Gulley's work includes the acclaimed Harmony series of novels chronicling life in the eccentric Quaker community of Harmony, Indiana and the best selling Porch Talk series of inspirational and humorous stories. In addition, Gulley and co-author James Mulholland describe their progressive worldview in their books, If Grace Is True and If God Is Love.

Gulley is currently the the pastor at Fairfield Friends Meeting near Indianapolis. Additionally, he hosted the television program "Porch Talk" on the Indiana PBS affiliate WFYI and their flagship show "Across Indiana," for which he received an Emmy Award. He also writes the popular monthly Home Again column for Indianapolis Monthly Magazine.

James Mulholland grew up Free Methodist, spent his teen years in a house church, was baptized American Baptist, attended a Disciples of Christ seminary, and served as an inner city United Methodist pastor for twelve years. He is now a member of the Irvington Friends Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana, no longer its pastor. He has been involved with many social ministries and has a special heart for helping men leaving prison.

In the past ten years, he has become known as a theologian and writer. He has written Praying Like Jesus individually and co-authored If Grace Is True and If God Is Love with Philip Gulley. He is married and has five children.
