Lorry talks with Anne Hansen,MD about strides made to reduce suicide in corrections. Dr. Hanson is the director of the University of Maryland's forensic psychiatry fellowship program and chair of the American Academy of Psychiatry and Law's correctional psychiatry committee. She has worked in correctional psychiatry for almost twenty years. Along with co-bloggers Dinah Miller and "Roy", she writes about correctional and forensic psychiatry under the pseudonym Clink Shrink on the Shrink Rap blog. The three Shrink Rappers will soon be releasing a book about psychiatry through the Hopkins press.
