Labor Day has passed and several of us still don't really know why we celebrated what we celebrated (if you even celebrated). Through some chains of events (strikes and unions), people who worked for the railroad back in the late 1890s brought on what many of us are thankful or dreadful for today...A day off, and the day before the first day of school.
