There is a story which has been unfolding on Blogtalkradio which maybe
interesting to you.  Briefly, a soldier by the name of Cory Clagett is
awaiting military trial in Kentucky for murdering two insurgents in Iraq. He
and three others are being held and the trial is set for January 15th.

Corey's mom has been a guest on a blogshow (link below) three times and her
story is quite compelling.  The Clagett family is all military - her husband
and two sons are military.

Apart from a brief segment on Nightline, no one is talking about this case.
By that I mean media or the blogging community.  Perhaps this content is
outside your comfort zone, but I was wondering if you could look at some of
this information and let me know what you think.

I have attached the following things to this email which include:

Witnesses OK'd in court-martial
A military judge ruled Thursday to allow two expert witnesses to testify for
Pfc. Corey R. Clagett, one of five 101st Airborne soldiers charged with
killing three Iraqi detainees.
Evidence aimed to discredit the prosecution's key witness will be allowed,
and Clagett's former brigade commander, Col. Michael Steele, will be
required to testify. Clagett's court-martial is slated for Jan. 15.
Military Judge Col. Theodore E. Dixon ruled New York forensic pathologist
Dr. Michael Baden and a social psychologist will be expert witnesses during
the trial.
The judge also will allow pornography on a computer used by Pfc. Bradley
Mason to be admitted in court. Mason is the prosecution's fact witness and
is the soldier who told others about the slayings.
Clagett and four other soldiers with the 187th Infantry Regiment are charged
in the May 9 shooting deaths of three Iraqi detainees.
Previous testimony indicated that Steele told his soldiers before the raid
that the area was a suspected al-Qaida hideout and to "kill all
military-aged males."
