Ginger B. Collins
United States, English
Writing under the name Ginger B. Collins, my short stories have been published in Freckles to Wrinkles, the SilverBoomer Anthology, LunchHour Stories Literary Magazine, and the soon to be released Scratch anthology of short fiction. The personal essay, REASON TO BELIEVE appears in Voices of Alcoholism, one of the Voices of . . . series of healing companions published by LaChance Publishing. In the area of creative non-fiction, my “slice-of-wave” sailing tales have appeared in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Cincinnati Inquirer, Cruising World Magazine, and Living Aboard Magazine. WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW is my first novel. Although this might not be the best of times in the publishing industry, I’m hoping my 25+ years in sales, marketing, advertising, and PR will increase my appeal to agents and publishers. I understand the power of personal relationships, the importance of networking, and the value of good publicity, and as an empty nester I have time to spend on the development of my present writing platform. My blog shares this information and focuses on ways new novelists can enrich their platform using the tools available. I do the research and pass it along. I also offer non-writers a peek into the process as I work on my second novel.
