About This Week's Show Santi Company is a family company making investments in transformative companies and playing a direct role in wealth transfer transformation. About Our Guest John D. Santi Sr. CIMA | Santi Company, LLC John is a twenty year veteran of the financial services business having started his career at PaineWebber/UBS in 1988. During his 15 years there, he was a member of the prestigious Chairman’s Council and Investment Advisory Council. Also, he built and branded one of the largest teams at the firm known as the Private Client Consulting Group. One of his proudest accomplishments was building a branch of Comerica Bank & Trust in Memphis where it continues to operate today. John was then recruited by Stanford Group as its first Managing Director in Memphis. There he introduced the firm to the open architecture platform. He also has been credited with bringing Stanford the concept of Life Planning. John left Stanford to pursue the development of Santi Company as an independent family office. Santi Company provides Strategic capital and value creation to several Mid-South and International businesses. John also has been active in the turnaround of several small business/family wealth situations. He is a partner in a start up Wall Street bank working on solving the frozen Auction Rate Preferred Market and settling large insurance claims. His other interests are in working with a Health Care IT provider and is a partner and owner in a Regional Urban Retail chain.
