The new "Unscripted" CD is a different musical story for Cindy Bradley enirely. Broening wanted Cindy in the studio with no preconceived notions of what she was going to do. She had been enduring some challenging news about both her Grandmother and Mom (her best friend). She also had severed a romantic relationship. Processing all of that and channeling emotion into "Unscripted" was a gift. Not only for Michael and Cindy as a work of art, but to those who are about to hear the depth of Jazz that is inside Cindy Bradley -Trumpet and flugelhorn artist with guts and history. We'll hear some of the new CD on "Cool Jazz Conversations" - and your ears are gonna double take in the best way :) 7 p.m. Eastern U.S. time on Monday.
