Join hosts Betty-Lynn and Garrison for the "INDIEvening" segment of Conversation Crossroad on March 21st at 7pm with their guest Stella Black, classical crossover artist, composer and conductor. Stella writes Classical, Adult Alternative, New Age, Healing, Country, Latino, Broadway, and Light Jazz. Her multi-faceted writing style reflects the many influences that have shaped her as an artist. It is no surprise that Stella Black’s New Composition consists of Opus 1 through Opus 22. This Orchestral work mergers the coloration and ambiance of many cultures reflected in it’s name, THE TRAVELER, due for release this Spring. Other Classical crossover performers such as Il Divo, Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban have been well received by what has been dubbed the “Pop-Opera” or “P’Opera” movement. In addition to being an accomplished Vocalist, Stella found her international creative nitch as a Composer attending the 2006 Cannes, France Music and Film Festival. She has recorded throughout the U.S. and Europe and loves each new experience. In addition, Stella is an award winning ASCAP Plus new songwriter, a 2006 Finalist in three categories of the ISC International Songwriting Competition and a finalist in the ISC People’s Choice Awards. She is also an active member of ASCAP, NSAI, WWSWA and AFTRA.
