Today we have a special episode on living through addiction. With the upcoming movie release this Friday of Zane's ADDICTED, I thought it would be good to have a conversation on how many of us live our lives addicted to the status quo, and then feel forced to live a lie when we don't feel we measure up. Although this novel is fiction, it rings all too true for women today who are juggling careers, children, caretaking, marriages, and whatever else without taking time to know who they really are.

Women can we have it all and stay sane?

Are you driven by status quo and the desires of others to feel fulfilled in your lives?

This movie gives insights into why many women fail to truly succeed because along the way we experience a disconnection with our true intentions and desire, and seek to please others over ourselves until sometimes we simply get caught up.

So today we are talking about Zane's Book and Movie, ADDICTED to discuss how easily many of us can get trapped into living a secret life in ours heads that eventually erupts and impacts everyone, because we disconnect for our true identity.

Based on the best-selling novel by Zane, ADDICTED is a sexy and provocative thriller about desire and the dangers of indiscretion. Successful businesswoman Zoe Reynard (Sharon Leal) appears to have attained it all – the dream husband she loves (Boris Kodjoe), two wonderful children and a flourishing career. As perfect as everything appears from the outside, Zoe is still drawn to temptations she cannot escape or resist. As she pursues a secretive life, Zoe finds herself risking it all when she heads down a perilous path she may not survive.

Women, we touch the human spirit first, so we must be true to ourselves because we have the greatest impact on others.
