I have a dream...Celebrating Our 50 Years of Jubilee!
Our forefathers and mothers planted trees from which we gather fruit, and dug wells from which we quench our thirst. Cilvil Rights Activist marched for us, died for us and pleaded for our equality.
We are honored to have the return of Tanisha A. Cunningham, the Author of the newly released book, "A Rose Can't Grow in a Garden of Weeds"! It is exciting because she was preparing for her book release last month when she was on the show, so I am looking forward to hearing all the great things that have transpired. She shared tips on the weeds that must be removed from our lives in order for us to embrace our full essence of power.
This month, we have focused our shows on the Empowered Mother, and understanding the sacredness of the Role of a Mother, and the power she has to birth and nurture children to re-shape our society. Unless we rid ourselves of the weeds in our lives and heal, we cannot give the guidance our children will need. What a way to close out this series!!
Our ancesters from Africa knew the power of connection to the Divine, and honored the human-ness in each other so I invite you to remember the greatness of each soul born through us as women, so we mother the next generation into their divine purpose for arriving on the earth.
Let's continue to have conversations that inspires us all to take action to fully "Heal what's hurting our Black Community."
We are powerful, and we rise!
