Is the media really having a field day promoting interarcial love, marriages and relationships? What is the underlining message of promoting black on white love all over television and in magazines these days?
I remember all the controversary and backlash surrounding that cheerios commercial, with the interarcial couple (black husband-white wife) and the mixed kid aired. So many people took issue with it.
But since the 1958 love story of Richard and Mildred Loving, a black woman and a white man out of Virginia, interracial marriages have soared and continue to sore in the U.S. The Lovings married at the time interracial marriage between races were prohibited.
Join me at 6:30 p.m. EST on "Conversations Of A Sistah" via Blog Talk Radio as I discuss Interracial Relationships...Is White Mr. Right??? Are black women dating and marrying outside of their race for loyalty and stability? Tune in, you won't want to miss this conversation!
