The Woman behind the adoption of Florida Teen, on Conversations Of A Sistah

Fifteen year old Davion Navar Henry was in foster care his entire life and desperate for a family to call his own, so much so that he recently took matters into his own hands. After learning that his biological mother, who gave birth to him while she was in prison, had passed away, he asked his caseworker, Connie Going, if she would take him to church so that he could make his request known to the people there and she agreed. As it turned out the state did not find Davion a family, so he was adopted by his case worker Connie this past year after he asked her to become his mom. The adoption was finalized on April 22,2015.
