Monday, August 18, 2008 @ 12p.m. CST --- International Bestselling author John Saul has been scaring readers for decades. He will talk live for the hour with the Conversations audience about his long career and his new book FACES OF FEAR that was released in August 2008.

 

Monday, August 18, 2008 @ 7p.m. CST --- Author P. Elaine Archie's writing style has been compared with the likes of Zane, however, she is blazing her own trail with seductive storylines like that found in her new book GETTIN' CAUGHT UP WITH NINA. She talks about what writing does for her and what she hopes her readers get from it. (NOTE: GETTIN' CAUGHT UP WITH NINA was chosen as one of Conversations Book Club's "Top 20 Summer Reads of 2008".)

 

Tuesday, August 19, 2008 @ 10a.m. CST --- Bestselling authors August Gold and Joel Fotinos join us for the hour to talk about their careers, how their faith has shaped the decisions they have made and what led to their book THE PRAYER CHEST. (NOTE: THE PRAYER CHEST was chosen as one of Conversations Book Club's "Top 20 Summer Reads of 2008".)

 

Tuesday, August 19, 2008 @ 7p.m. CST --- Bestselling author Brandon Massey has been a friend of Conversations since 2004 when he appeared on our radio and television shows during his visit to Mississippi to promote his book DARK CORNER. Several bestsellers later he returns to the Conversations audience to discuss how his life has changed since his career began and tell us why we need DON'T EVER TELL, his newest thriller.

 

Wednesday, August 20, 2008 @ 12p.m. CST ---- Our 2008 Author of the Year, Bestselling author Shelia E. Lipsey, will join Conversations to talk about her highs and lows that have taken place this year, the struggles of remaining relevant in the literary industry and how she has turned the tables again for her readers in her new book MY SON'S WIFE.

 

Thursday, August 21, 2008 @ 7p.m. CST --- We will end the week with two authors that have made their mark in the literary industry. Beginning at 7p.m. CST we will talk with author Latrese Carter. She captured the attention of Conversations with her debut LIAR, LIAR. Now she is back on the scene with her latest offering REVELATIONS. At 7:30p.m. we will be joined by Travis Hunter, a man who has dedicated himself to improving the lives of young men one at a time. Beginning with THE HEARTS OF ME and contining with A FAMILY SIN, his thoughtful novels have garnered him national praise. What motivates him to write what he feels instead of what might be seen as popular? We will ask him!
