Diabulimia is a little known eating disorder that can develop in persons diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.  In fact it is estimated that women diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and two and a half more times likely to develop an eating disorder.

With societal pressures, feelig overwhelmed and anger about a disease that requires constant management many people with diabetes may turn to an eating disorder to cope. 

To help us unravel the facts, and find support we turn to Asha Brown the Founder of We Are Diabetes.  Asha, a person with Type 1 Diabetes and someone who has wrestled with Diabulimia, found help and created an organization to help support those with Diabulimia.
