The Douglas Stewart Hour: War in Mali, Turmoil in Egypt

Donors have now pledged nearly $500 million to stop AQIM in Mali at a fundraiser this week in Ethiopia. Meanwhile, the non-existent war in Mali will soon see the instalation of a US drone base; UK has offered to come in and train Mali security forces to fight al-Qaeda (sort of like the US with Afghanistan)

Also, officials in Yemen have seized stolen weapons including Surface to Air missiles. Unclear if the weapons were heading to Syria or to Egypt the origin of them also remains speculation. Presonally, I think they came from Libya as do my sources. We will dive into that as well!
