Call in number to speak with the host
0109 2010, Wed, June 30, Conservative Latino Talk Radio discusses the Texas Democrat Convention and the historic Supreme Court decision regarding the Second amendment. I read my article published on TexasGOPvote concerning how the Texas Democrats have made every effort to distance themselves from our pal Barry but could not be shed of their liberalism. Bill White, former Houston mayor, now running for Texas Governor touted his dubious record claiming that he had managed surpluses for years in Houston but it is common knowledge that is completely untrue as Houston has a tremendous budget deficit. This while all the while accusing Governor Perry of having a $18 or 20 billion deficit, they couldn't decide which figure it actually was. Bill White spoke one sentence in Spanish in a feeble effort to pander to Latinos in Texas while the best attack he could make against Rick Perry was a personal attack about his hair! Weak! Also weak was the ridiculous and shocking testimony of Justice Jim Sharp running for Texas Supreme Court who advocates for judicial activism and demonstrated himself to also be a panderer. Other examples of judicial activism can be found in Elena Kagan now Barry's nominee for US Supreme court. She would, as Texas Senator Cornyn points out, no doubt, not support the Second amendment as did another Barry nominee, Sotomayor, with regard to the historic McDonald v City of Chicago case which affirms the Second amendment is actually a individual Right, like the rest of the Bill of Rights, and that no government can eliminate it. Texas Democrats are desperate to distance themselves from Barry & Washington but can't because as Jim Sharp demonstrates, he, Sotomayor, Kagan and Barry are all the same type of judicial activists who seek the peculiar notion "social justice," socialism and a limit to personal freedom.
