In an effort to further inculcate non-Latinos in the history, heritage and value of Latino cultuire, I discuss Tejano culture as expressed in Tejano music and most beautifully expressed in both the music and character of Selena Quintanilla Perez, gone now 15 years. I also share some personal stories and experience with Tejano culture, history and with Selena herself and how it made a very deep impression upon me.
