Ret) Colonel Lawrence Sellin served 29 years as a green beret in the U.S. Army Reserve. He completed two tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. For engaging in active ground combat Colonel Sellin was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Bronze Star Medal. Colonel Sellin holds a Ph.D. in physiology and has recently retired from an international business career with IBM. He is a Contributing Editor to the website Family Security Matters as well as other online news and political opinion sites.
