As women grow in their personal power, more feminine consciousness is present in the world. Female consciousness is creative, relational and connecting. Women have the power to birth and to unite, to nurture and protect. Tonight we will talk about this feminine power and conciousness with two very powerful and creative women. Ayanna James is a Hollywood Costume designer. She has worked with Grammy nominated musical acts, major motion picture actresses, and professional athletes. She has been published in Rolling Stone, Papercut and Black Enterprise Magazine. She has also worked for TNT, CBS, T-Mobile and The Biography Channel.
Our adults guest is Senabella, aka The Bronzeville Diva. Senabella is an Award wining recording artist, television and radio host, producer, songwriter and music educator. She has traveled the globe singing in venues as far as Asia, Africa and Europe, winning acclaim for her smooth jazz vocal style which has been said is like a quiet storm. Her music, her sound is breathtaking.
She was nominated for Best New Jazz Artist by KISS FM in New York by Ken Webb in the early part of her career and has gone on to be named a Music Humanitarian. Her personal successes made her think on how to help others in the field of music and so she Founded and Trademarked her brand known today as “Bronzeville Diva.“ She was invited by the Illinois Institute of Technology to do two year series of shows making her the first arts and humanities cultural program invited onto the campus under their supervision and assistance.
