  chat room!

  What is a "Chat Room"? - I am glad you asked. When hosting the live show, I open a "chat room". This is where listeners can post comments, questions and suggestions - and I interact with them both during and after the live broadcast. The listeners gain access to the chat room by clicking on a little green box that says chat room. If you don't see it when listening to a live show, make your window bigger and scroll around until you do. After accessing this, you can type in your thoughts and see what others are saying as well.

  Tips for listening to the this radio program!!

  Comments from listeners prompted this post... Upon visiting this site, the latest show automatically plays. You'll find a pause button on the right hand side. Click it. Then choose the archived broadcast you are looking for and start listening! :)  Otherwise, both shows will be playing at once!   -   Another tip: Use the right mouse button or your keyboard shortcut commands for opening a "new window" to access a blog or particular show... this way the main home page is still available for you to browse while listening to an archived broadcast.   Volunteer Tourism!

  It was such a pleasure to have Joyce Major appear as the featured guest on the Conscious Discussions talk radio show. She shared fabulous stories about her experiences while traveling and volunteering around the world in 13 countries! Her passion for making a difference is encouraging, to say the least.  Joyce offers a list of volunteer travel options for people interested in participating in this "new" tourism option. The Netherlands and England have embraced this activity with open arms - Joyce would like to see North Americans have the chance for life-changing experiences as well. She has written a large (more than 300 pages) book about her experiences entitled "Smile At The World" and teaches occasional courses on the subject in Seattle, Washington - (USA).
