Grief hits us all at some point in our lives – we lose our furry kids (pets), parents and friends who commit suicide or succumb to chronic illness, unexpected accidents… and it can be devastating. Yet Allen Klein is here to tell us that in the face of the devastation humor becomes a vital tool, helping us put the pain in perspective and realize that life can and will go on. Allen too has experienced much grief in his life including the loss of his wife. He is an award winning author of something like 17 books; his most recent being: The Healing Power of Humor, Change Your Life!: A Little Book of Big Ideas, andLearning to Laugh When You Feel Like Crying   This last book there I’ve listed was sent to me to prepare for this interview and it awoke in me the desire to complete the grieving process for the suicide of my own parents. He offered fantastic quotes and inspirational advice that has helped me personally. It is with pleasure that I bring to you, our audience, Allen Klein – recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor, a Certified Speaking Professional designation from the National Speakers Association; he also received a Toastmaster’s Communication and Leadership Award, and is an inductee in the Hunter College Hall of Fame (New York City, USA).  Find more about Allen and his work at: www.AllenKlein.com  - and you can find the Brummets @: http://Brummet.ca
