Cancer: Hope from Survivor's Wisdom

Cancer survivor, mother of 4, Julie Silver is with us today. In her profession as a physiatrist (Dr. of physical medicine and rehabilitation) she has helped patients recover from a wide variety of injuries and ailments – which may have played a role in her own recovery as well… we’ll find out in a moment. She is the author of What Helped Get Me Through – Cancer Survivors Share Wisdom and Hope. Her children are also authors, and have created a book titled: Our Mom is Getting Better. Today, Julie will explain how each and every one of us can become a part of a solid support system for those who are diagnosed with Cancer.
