Author Judy Nichols began her first novel, Caviar Dreams while raising her children and this book involved over 5 years of work for the author. Her work with the Nature Conservancy inspired her second novel, Tree Huggers. She is also quite active with an organization called Phoenix Employment Ministries which helps homeless people find meaningful work—readers will find that the author included an organization very much like it in Tree Hugger’s storyline.
