LISTEN FOR THE MESSAGE! One of Hollywood’s favorites, popular comedian, actor and motivational speaker Michael Colyar will release his highly-anticipated, comedic CD, “Michael Colyar’s Greatest Hits and the Great Unknowns.” The CD will be available on iTunes August 3, 2010 and will be officially released on August 10, 2010. The CD features Colyar’s brassy humor and fuses it with the musical stylings of some of hip hop’s best underground talent. The CD features a sampling of underground hip hop heavyweights such as the DBoyz (formerly of Cash Money Records), C.B.Y.A (Cool But Young and Arrogant), Dirty (half of the group “Pimp and Da Gangsta”), and MJG & 8Ball. The CD will also feature a special tribute to the late rapper MC Breed. The bonus is Michael will also tackle rap on this CD with his highly controversial "Who's The King" where he ask the question "who made y'all king"...Colyar is a comedian and motivational speaker, who first gained notoriety at Los Angeles’ famed Venice Beach, where he would perform for 9 years. Colyar gained notable attention in 1990 when he was the $100,000 Grand Prize Comedy champion of “Star Search”, the nationally televised talent competition, and donated $50,000.00 to homeless charities in the Los Angeles area. Most recently, Colyar was featured on Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog” with Aniki Noni Rose and Oprah. He also starred in Snoop Dogg’s “Malice N’ Wonderland” and “The Longshot" starring Ice Cube and KeKe Palmer. Colyar explains, "God has given me a great gift," and, it’s important for me to give something back…I love music…I love Hip-Hop, and there are so many young artist who just need a chance…and that’s what I want to do, give them that chance.”
